Sea Poetry

Its World Oceans Week (WOW) isn't that an awesome acronym? This week, the United Nations has organized a series of educational events and it is convening artists, policymakers, researchers and many more to discuss how we can best restore, sustain and manage the oceans and coasts. As an anthropologist and aspiring poet, I will spend the week blending my diverse interests, talking about 'heritage in the time of pandemics' on Wednesday 10 June; 'Art for the Oceans' and the role of transdisciplinarity in ocean's research on 11 June.
